Leading Edge Consulting: Network Systems Engineer

Leading Edge Consulting is recruiting for their client – a fast-growing Information Technology Support Services Company. The company is a major player in the provision of ATM and associated services particularly in the Financial Services Sector of the economy. It urgently requires the services of high performing IT professionals to match the tempo of its expansion. POSITION: NETWORK SYSTEMS ENGINEER (LEC/COS/NSE10/02) This position reports to the Head of the Information Technology Department and the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring of all network entities, fit cables and connection end-points; ensure that all points of failure on the network are constantly monitored, plan access to various internal systems, install and update latest software versions and ensure data integrity. PERSON SPECIFICATIONS * Minimum of 2nd Class degree in Engineering, Mathematics or a related qualification. Possession of a Masters degree will be advantageous. * Must have 2 – 3 years uninterrupted experience in managing high availability networks, incidence management and security integrity assurance. * Should be familiar with Postilion configuration, possess EFT (ISO 8583) knowledge, have interface knowledge beyond the Postilion interface to network. * The ideal candidate must be analytical, well organized and focused.
